About the garment

The Yara Normsk Jacket uses a stripe drawn from Nepalese blanket cloth, worked in rust, charcoal and cream across softly brushed cotton oxford. Cut straight in a chore-jacket shape, it has two oversized chest patch pockets with cross-cut flaps that turn the stripe horizontally. The jacket is fully lined and finished with tonal corozo buttons, antique-silver pocket snaps and adjustable cuffs.

Lay a similar garment flat and measure:

  • Back Length – From the centre-back neck seam straight down to the hem.
  • Chest Width – Straight across the garment, approximately 2.5 cm below the underarm.
  • Hem Width – Straight across the bottom edge of the jacket.
  • Shoulder Width – Straight across the shoulders from seam to seam.
  • Sleeve Length – From the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
  • Upper Sleeve Width – Across the sleeve approximately 2.5 cm below the underarm.
