Returns Policy

We hope you’re happy with your purchase. If it’s not quite right – wrong fit, not what you expected – you can request a return below.

Return window

Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery. Returns requested outside of this timeframe may be rejected.

Item condition

Please return items unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, neatly folded and repacked in the original packaging. Trying on at home is fine – but items returned with signs of wear, washing, odour, marks, or missing tags/packaging may be rejected and sent back to you.

How to return

Returns Portal (recommended)

The Returns Portal is the quickest way to register a return. You’ll need your order number (from your order confirmation email – it usually starts with #). Select the item(s), choose refund, store credit, or exchange (where available), then follow the steps to complete your return. Separate orders can’t be combined into a single return.

Faulty or damaged items

If something isn’t right (faulty, damaged, or not as described), you can still use the Returns Portal. If you’d prefer, email orders@farafieldclothing.com and we’ll help.

Return postage

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer. In the portal you can choose:

  • Portal label: if you choose a portal label (for example, Royal Mail), the label fee will be deducted from your refund.
  • Self-post (“own label”): arrange your own return postage. No label is provided and you’ll pay your chosen carrier directly. We recommend using a tracked service and keeping proof of postage.

Exchanges

Exchanges are available for UK orders where stock allows. If your preferred size/item isn’t available, please select refund or store credit instead.

International exchanges aren’t currently available – if you need a different size or item, please place a new order and return the original for a refund/credit.

Store credit

If you choose store credit in the portal, we’ll email you a credit code to use on a future order. Store credit includes an extra 5% bonus compared to a refund.

Refunds & processing

Once your return is received, we’ll process your refund or exchange as quickly as possible. During busy periods, please allow up to 10 business days for processing. We’ll email you a confirmation once your return has been processed.

  • Refunds typically appear within 3–5 working days of processing (or within 1 working day for PayPal).
  • Original shipping charges aren’t refunded unless agreed by our customer service team.
