How to Measure

Lay a similar garment flat and measure:

  • Waist Width – Straight across the top of the waistband with the trouser laid flat.
  • Hip Width – Straight across the garment approximately 16 cm below the waist.
  • Thigh Width – Across the leg at the widest point, level with the crotch.
  • Front Rise – From the crotch seam to the top of the waistband along the front rise.
  • Inside Leg – From the crotch seam to the hem along the inside leg.
  • Leg Opening – Straight across the hem of one leg.

The Coup Trouser is a longstanding Far Afield shape, cut here in a dense 360gsm 3/1 cotton workwear twill. Its military influence comes through in the fatigue-style patch pockets front and back, with angled hand openings at the front and buttoned flaps at the rear, all defined by neat double topstitching. Relaxed through the upper leg with a gentle taper towards the hem, and finished with a buttoned waistband and metal zip fly.
