About the garment

The Appa draws on the meeting point between traditional British sportswear and shirting. Knitted in Italian fine-wool yarn, it pairs a dark body with a broad ivory collar and matching three-button placket, creating a crisp, shirt-like neckline that sharpens the familiar rugby shape. Cut relaxed through the chest and shoulders, it is finished with ivory corozo buttons and fine ribbing at the cuffs and hem.

How to Measure

Lay a similar garment flat and measure:

  • Body Length – From the highest point of the shoulder, beside the collar, to the hem.
  • Chest Width – Straight across the garment at the chest.
  • Hem Width – Straight across the bottom edge without stretching the ribbed hem.
  • Shoulder Width – Straight across the shoulders from seam to seam.
  • Sleeve Length – From the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
  • Upper Sleeve Width – Across the sleeve at its widest point.
Relaxed fit with a broad shoulder and room through the body. Fine ribbing draws the shape in gently at the cuffs and hem. Take your usual size.
