How to Measure

Lay the garment flat and measure:

CB Length – From centre back at the base of the collar to the hem.
Chest – Across the front, ~2.5 cm below the armhole.
Sleeve – From shoulder seam to end of cuff.
Shoulder – Seam to seam across shoulders.

Inspired by a knit worn by Tony Soprano in The Sopranos, Season 4, Episode 10, The Strong, Silent Type.

A short-sleeve knit polo with a blocked front and an easy, settled shape. Compared with the printed shirts, the reference is quieter: less about surface pattern, more about proportion, weight and that particular Tony Soprano neatness where casual clothes still feel exact.

The body is relaxed through the chest, with enough structure at the ribbed hem and cuffs to keep the shape from falling loose. The block detail is knitted into the garment rather than printed, so the contrast sits cleanly within the surface.

Knitted in 12-gauge organic cotton with a button placket, ribbed trims and tonal corozo buttons.

Relaxed fit with a clean line through the body and a regular length that sits neatly on the hip thanks to the rib hem.

The Strong, Silent Type Polo

Great polo shirt, identical to the one on the show which shows great attention to detail. Would love to see more recreations of more polos from the show, they certainly had great ones. The fabric is beautiful, not too thin, not too thick, just perfect, even better than the Jacobs polo. Looking forward to seeing future releases, and I hope you consider making bigger sizes.
