About the garment
Inspired by a shirt worn by Tony Soprano in The Sopranos, Season 3, Episode 5, Another Toothpick.
Built around a small broken grid print, the repeat uses horizontal bars arranged into neat blocks, interrupted just enough to give the surface some movement. The print is matched through the front placket so the pattern carries cleanly across the shirt.
One of Tony’s quieter shirts, but still recognisable. A deep-cut reference that works just as well on its own.
Cut from soft cotton with a relaxed body, straight hem, chest pocket and off-white mother-of-pearl buttons. Finished with a small Far Afield mark hidden within the artwork.

Completely fades after one use and wash (even if you hand wash it) nice looking shirt and fit but for 80ish quid it isn't worth it as you can only wear it once before it is faded and unwearable

The fading you described is exactly the issue we set out to resolve. We’ve since redeveloped the shirt using a new fabric and an improved print process specifically designed to prevent this from happening and to ensure the colour remains strong even after washing.

We took the fading reported on the original shirt seriously and have since completely remade it using a new fabric and revised print process, developed to retain the colour and clarity much more reliably. We would be very happy to send you the new version if you would like to try it.
Amazing shirt, fantastic craftsmanship.
Poor quality. The colors seemed already slightly washed out when it arrived, after the first wash it has only gotten worse, despite me washing it the way it was recommended. Never again!
Since you left this review, Daniel, we have completely remade the shirt in a new fabric and changed the print process to address the fading seen in the original version. The new shirt holds its colour and definition far more reliably. Please get in touch if you would like us to send you one.
Great quality and perfect fit
This is really expertly made with a beautiful print and cut. My regular size is L but I went for XL and it’s perfectly oversized, exactly what I wanted and expected. 10/10 I will be back for more!

If you're going to market a Sopranos collection and sell shirts worn by a famously heavyset guy - why make the sleeves so small? The rest of the shirt is appropriately roomy but the sleeves are way too tight against my upper arms. Makes no sense. I wear an M and this is the first time I'm having such a problem with this style of shirt. Beware unless you're a skeleton. What a disappointment.

Both points you raised have been addressed in the newly remade version: the sleeves have been reshaped with more room through the upper arm, while the fabric and print have been changed to improve colour retention.
