About the garment

Inspired by a knit worn by Tony Soprano in The Sopranos, Season 6, Episode 10, Moe n’ Joe.

A black knit polo with raised vertical stitchwork through the front, framed by contrast trims at the collar, placket and chest-pocket detail. Late-series Tony by way of a garment: darker, heavier in mood, pared back to the details that matter.

The stitchwork is knitted into the surface rather than printed, giving the front a quiet relief against the plain body. Relaxed through the chest and held at the hem, it keeps the settled shape of the original without letting the knit go slack.

Knitted in 12-gauge organic cotton with a two-button placket, ribbed cuffs, ribbed hem and tonal corozo buttons.

How to Measure

Lay the garment flat and measure:

  • CB Length – From centre back at the base of the collar to the hem.
  • Chest – Across the front, approximately 2.5 cm below the armhole.
  • Sleeve – From the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
  • Shoulder – Seam to seam across the shoulders.

Great polo shirt, my second one from this great collection, identical to the one on the show which shows great attention to detail.
Would love to see more recreations of more polos from the show, they certainly had beautiful ones, like the one worn by Christopher in S06E06.
The fabric of this polo is beautiful, not too thin, not too thick, just perfect, even better than the Jacobs polo.
Looking forward to seeing future releases, and I hope you consider making bigger sizes.
