About the garment

The Kier is a heavyweight knitted polo with the broad, easy proportions of 1990s sportswear. Its close vertical rib is worked in an irregularly flecked Italian yarn, giving the surface the broken character of a Donegal-style knit. The substantial collar and short three-button placket shape the neckline, finished with tonal corozo buttons. Deep ribbing at the cuffs and hem gathers the wide body and sleeves into a clean, rounded silhouette.

How to Measure

Lay a similar garment flat and measure:

  • Body Length – From the highest point of the shoulder, beside the collar, to the hem.
  • Chest Width – Straight across the garment at the chest.
  • Hem Width – Straight across the bottom edge without stretching the ribbed hem.
  • Shoulder Width – Straight across the shoulders from seam to seam.
  • Sleeve Length – From the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
  • Upper Sleeve Width – Across the sleeve at its widest point.
Relaxed, wide fit with room through the body and sleeves. Deep ribbing gathers the shape at the cuffs and hem. Take your usual size.
