Bagh Motif Jumper
The Bagh Jumper draws on the Pāṭe Bāgh, the Nepali name for the striped Bengal tiger native to the country’s Terai and a longstanding presence in Nepalese and wider Himalayan art and symbolism. A large 30cm figure is worked directly into the chest in fine Italian wool jacquard. The two principal yarns interlock across the panel, integrating the image into the cloth and creating a softly mottled reverse, with a narrow red accent defining the mouth. Cut with a relaxed body and broad shoulder, it is finished with fine ribbing at the crew neck, cuffs and hem.
