How to Measure

To get the best fit, lay a well-fitting shirt flat and measure the following:

CB Length – From the centre back seam at the base of the collar straight down to the hem
Chest – Across the front, approximately 2.5cm below the armpit
Sleeve – From the shoulder seam to the edge of the sleeve
Shoulder – Straight across from seam to seam at the top of the shoulders

Brooklyn-based Chinese-American artist Rose Wong works across illustration, books, ceramics and textiles, reducing familiar natural forms to their clearest shapes.

Here, her tulips are translated from drawing into cloth through large, raw-edged cotton appliqué. Two stems rise from the hem, with smaller inverted flowers worked across the collar. Visible stitching and lightly frayed edges preserve the directness of Rose’s original forms.

The shirt is cut from a 160gsm cotton twill with an unusually soft, almost peach-like handle. Our Stachio shape is relaxed and boxy, with an open collar, straight hem and short side slits.
