An American icon, reimagined on home soil.

A tribute to a show we’ve always loved, made in collaboration with a brand we’ve long admired. We’ve adapted a shirt worn by Tom Selleck in Magnum, P.I., Season 2, Episode 21, The Elmo Ziller Story. Equal parts throwback and talking point, it captures a singular moment in ’80s TV history: playful, loud, and unmistakably American. Like much of what Magnum wore, it made a lasting impression, the kind of shirt that somehow made big prints feel effortless. Watching as kids (or later, on repeat), we didn’t just want the car, the job, the life; we wanted this shirt.

We worked with Gitman Bros. to bring it to life. One of the few remaining US shirtmakers still doing everything in-house, Gitman’s approach is slow, considered and hands-on. It’s a continuation of the craft at its best.

Cut, sewn and finished in Lafayette, Tennessee. Made with the same attention to detail Gitman has built its name on for nearly a century.
